Mighty Max Blows Up Dino Lab
4 Accessories

Bluebird Toys made Polly Pocket, and in 1992 they gave boys Mighty Max. Every set looked like a monster head or skull, then hinged open into a tiny horror world with villains waiting for Max, the kid whose magic cap kept dropping him into trouble.
Complete checklist of 89 Mighty Max toys across 10 series by Bluebird Toys, 1992-1995. Updated 27 October 2026.

The medium sets and the heart of the line. Three series of six, each a head or creature that opens into a full scene with three or four figures, like Lord Lupor's Wolfship 7 or the Skull Dungeon.

Six figure packs from 1994 with no playset, just Max, his pals and a gang of baddies. Each one is named after the villain on the front, from Skull Master to Pharaoh Phang.
Simpler than the rest: six small heads that stay shut, each sold with one monster and a Max figure made just for that set.
